Mandy Grant lived a life she regrets now that she’s older. Before, getting high with her friends, never settling down, and finding it hard to commit to a real relationship. But now that she lives with her sister, Doctor Hilary Grant, and the crew of the Firecracker, things are beginning to change. 

After the horrific attack on Hilary, Mandy’s views on life have shifted. She no longer wants the easy solitude. She wants family, friends, and love. 

Dar comes from a society where females rule. Males are only seen as tools to accomplish tasks. So when he meets Vic and Karthias, and Hilary and Hastian, his wants and desires grow to more than his own kind can offer him.
